Papua New Guiana remains one of the more isolated, primitive islands in the Pacific. The terrain, the lack of infrastructure, the simplicity, and rejection of other cultures, keeps Papua New Guiana from being absorbed into the worldwide mishmash of cultures, technology and change.  Near the seaside cities and ports, western culture exists, although limited. Inland, western culture dissipates quickly.  Photos cannot capture the primitive, simplistic lifestyle these people pursue. They should be left alone.
